About
Maxlex Ventures Limited was founded by Jackie Sheldon as a professional education company. Jackie is a Senior Lecturer in Law who specialises in designing, writing and delivering company law courses.
Jackie was appointed to her first full time academic post at BPP University in 2006, was promoted to Senior Lecturer in 2008 and in addition to her teaching responsibilities was also training manager for staff at BPP in the North West. She became a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in 2009. Jackie also gained her Post Graduate Certificate in Professional Education in 2013, which received a high merit and had a particular focus on using e-learning to enhance the student experience.
Jackie qualified as a corporate solicitor in the City at Taylor Wessing before moving to the North West and working at Pannone LLP and Hammonds specialising in mergers and acquisitions before moving to teach at BPP University.
As well as delivering education for students and clients, Jackie also continues to provide staff training, including new tutor inductions, observing taught sessions and providing feedback.
